PFM Associates provides advice and a range of financial services to companies. We have been involved in the provision of financial planning for companies for many years, and this is becoming an increasingly large share of our overall client base.

The services we provide to companies can generally be split two ways; those aimed directly at the company directors/shareholders and those provided to the company for the ultimate benefit of company employees.

We understand that employers face an increasingly difficult battle to stay abreast of various issues, including employment law often dictated by EU directives, the provision of competitive remuneration packages for employees, health and safety regulations, salary and benefit sacrifice, and the investment of company funds, to name just a few.

Our aim is to assist companies in any matters relating to their finances and we have advisers providing advice predominantly to companies, and as a result offering advice to the individuals employed by an organisation. It is our aim to treat these employees as personal clients, getting to know them and their requirements where it is realistic to do so.

One area affecting the vast majority of employers in the UK within the next few years will be the requirement to provide a workplace pension scheme and to automatically enrol employees into the scheme. This is an example of a current issue we are addressing with our corporate clients to ensure they are aware of their obligations, the costs involved and the best way of satisfying the legislation while providing quality solutions for their employees.
